Stroll down memory lane............

My baby boy turned 6 today. 6 years ago I was standing in my kitchen wondering if I peed my pants or if my water broke.....I will never forget that night. I ended up calling my doctor who told me to go ahead and go to the hospital. I wasn't due for another 3 weeks. Once I got to the hospital I was so nervous. Not because I was about to have a baby, but because I would be sooooo embarrassed if I had really just "peed my pants". (I'm sure all you mommy's know that feeling) But, that wasn't the case. My water had broke. Just a few hours later Jonathan Reed was born. We named him Jonathan after mine and Casey's dads name.......easy enough.....both have the name John! ha! "Reed" came from "Reed Lowe" Anybody know who he is? He played for the St. Louis Blues at the time. He was a good fighter! Anyways, I liked the name.
The first night home....that boy cried ALL NIGHT LONG. I was like.....what the heck........here we go.....
He didn't sleep all night until he was 1 1/2 years old. The only way he would sleep was if he was on your chest. ONLY WAY! He has slept in bed with mommy and daddy ever since. We wouldn't have it any other way! He is our snuggle bear.
I was going through some old pictures tonight. I didn't realize how many places he has been to. We used to go on vacations with him all the time. (poor jack and maely haven't been anywhere!)
He's been on a cruise to Belize and Cozumel. He has been to Cancun a few times. Disney World! Silver Dollar City numerous times.
Here he is in Belize. Not a very good picture. What you can see of him......doesn't he look just like Maely?

This picture was in Branson at a Magic show. (that's the magician) He was picked to go up on stage. I was shocked that he went up there by himself! The trick he went up on stage for was one where they told him to touch this big piece of mirror to make sure that it was solid and nothing could go through it.......well, our smart little boy says into the microphone.......no I can't touch it.....my daddy said not to......the magician was confused......but technically Reed was right! His daddy did teach him not to touch the mirrors and glass in our glass shop so he doesn't get hurt.

Here he is showing his daddy how to fight

first year of tball. (ha...just noticed the elbow pads he has on!)

Going to a Blues game.

At a Royals game in KC
I could sit here all night and post pictures of him. I'm so lukcy to be Reed's mommy. He is a very good big brother to Jack and Maely. He watches out for them all the time. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
I hope all the mommy's out there had a good mother's day. I know I did!
